Join us for the 6th annual Moosehead Try-athlon to benefit the CA Dean Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. This years event will begin and end at the Bartley's Garage and Beach on Pritham Avenue. You can have team members participate or just individuals in 2 mile paddle, 11 mile bike and 5 k run. We end the day with a family barbecue with donation of $5 and you have to try the famous Auxiliary ice cream to end your day.
Bicycle route starts at Bartley's Garage. Take a right out of the parking lot onto Pritham Ave, then a right onto Craft Rd. Follow the road as it turns into N Birch St.
At the stop sign at Pritham Ave, take a right continuing on Pritham until a left turn into the Moosehead Industrial Park Rd (just past West Cove lounge).
In the Loop, go past Moosehead Motor Sports(on the right), following a left curve on the Industrial Park Rd, then take a left onto Depot Street.
Follow Depot St to the stop sign then take a right back onto Pritham Ave and continue through town.
At the blinking light, take a left onto Lily Bay Rd, followed by a right onto Pleasant St (street between Shaw Library and Northwoods Outfitters). Continue on the 5 mile square (Pleasant St/East Rd/Drew Rd/Varney Rd/Scammon Rd). At the intersection of Lily Bay Rd and Scammon Rd., take a left onto Lily Bay Rd and continue back into town. At the blinking light, turn right onto Pritham Ave and continue back to Bartley's Garage.
Runners begin at Bartley's Garage and then proceed up Pritham Avenue toward the Junction, where they turn right onto Craft Road and proceed to the end of the road where it turns to North Birch. They return back onto Pritham Avenue and turn left running back past Bartley's Garage making a right onto Spruce Street, turn left onto Mayhew Manor road just before the rail road tracks and then a left onto Oliver road. Make a left back onto Pritham Ave and proceed to the finish line back at Bartley's Garage.
