C.A. Dean's Nursing Home is recognized for its compassionate staff who provide personal attention, work diligently to preserve dignity, offer a wide variety of activities and entertainment, and warm care to their residents. Our Nursing Home is the only skilled nursing facility (SNF) and long term care facility within a 35-mile radius. Since our Nursing Home is co-located with C.A. Dean's hospital, it enables a seamless delivery and continuum of care for its residents who need access to physician, lab, x-ray and physical therapy services.
The Nursing Home enjoys a very active volunteer community. Last year, over 200 volunteers provided over 6000 hours of service at C.A. Dean. Volunteers provided such activities as: pet therapy, music, crafts, help with letter writing and correspondence, companionship, garden planting, and cooking projects.
