Through C. A. Dean's Education & Community Outreach Department, individuals with diabetes can learn how to manage and control this disease through a 10-hour training program. 

Assist persons with diabetes in learning the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and behavior changes necessary to achieve and maintain good diabetes control and prevent the acute and long-term complications, which result in unnecessary hospitalization for the person with diabetes.

• Ask for information on class schedules
