n Providing balance rehabilitation
n Repositioning techniques for BPPV
n Correcting postural dysfunction and corresponding muscular weakness
n Offering patient and family education for prevention, maintenance and self-care after discharge
How are Patients Referred to our Vestibular Rehabilitation Program?

What are Vestibular Problems?
Vestibular problems are often characterized by feelings of vertigo or dizziness. Thousands of people suffer needlessly from this often-disabling condition that affects the sense of balance causing difficulty with any type of movement, feeling of nausea, or changes in vision and hearing. Vestibular difficulties are caused by problems in the balance center of the ear or with the connection of balance center to the brain. Fortunately, vestibular rehabilitation is available through a trained physical therapist at C.A. Dean.
