Generous, compassionate, devoted, caring, and energetic. If any of these words describe you, then you have the characteristics of a volunteer and C. A. Dean would love to have you join our volunteer support staff. Last year, over 200 volunteers provided over 6000 hours of service at C. A. Dean.
Volunteers provide the following valuable services in our organization and the community. They provide companionship, transportation, support, assist in letter writing, and lead activities. Other volunteers have planted flowerbeds and landscaped, worked on computer projects, and provided clerical support.

Volunteering -- Your Benefits at C. A. Dean
- C. A. Dean volunteers are covered by C. A. Dean self-insurance plan for hospital liability when on duty if the volunteer is in the building and wearing their nametag. Volunteers away from the C. A. Dean but on C. A. Dean business are also covered, provided a record of the service is kept. You are not covered when you are not volunteering.
